(De)Motivational Posters: Note to Self
The picture featured in this poster, discovered and photographed by an alert IT installer working on a computer network, inspired me to create multiple (De)Motivational Posters for this week’s installment.
This is such sage advice, such wisdom, that I decided to create a pair of companion posters in order to share it most effectively. There are two different looks for you to coordinate with your personal decorating sensibilities and workplace color scheme.
The first one failed a little for me, because I kept reading a comma after “stabbing.”
The second one…not to be a harsh, harsh, harsh critic (who, me?) but it looks like the hand belongs to someone thinking of stabbing the police — sneaking up behind them — which makes it seem the police are those “stupid people.”
So I’ll have to vote for the third one. However, it’s a little like “backstabbing”, which dilutes it. Stabbing from the front, face to face and eye to eye, would really express the sentiment ever so much better.

You could spice it up:
“Note to self: You can go to jail for beheading stupid people and feeding their brains through a paper shredder!”

Yeah, sometimes I’m kind of limited by the kinds of pictures that are available. Even the mighty Google can’t produce the perfect picture every time. I think the first picture was originally some sort of television news graphic, the second one was a no back-stabbing sign that I adapted.
I was trying to be true to the original note but I like your spiced-up idea. If you can find a picture of brains being fed through a paper shredder go here:

and put it together (That link is also under Diversions and Distractions on the right hand sidebar). Well, on second thought, maybe not that particular image.
If you would want, I’d love to guest post it for you.

Cool!
I already have an idea….since last night. Not for the brain shredder though. Finding an image for that might be difficult!
